STOCK CONTROL ADMINISTRATOR

  • Full Time

  • Monday – Friday 8.00am – 4.00pm (40 hours per week, 1 hour paid lunch break)

The successful candidate would be solely responsible for ordering, stock rotation and processing of medicines and consumables for the Pet, Farm and Equine departments. This carries a significant level of financial responsibility and contributes to the efficient running of the practice and customer satisfaction.  The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work as an integral team member.

The position is based at our Callington surgery and will include the overseeing our three branches in Saltash, Looe and Merrymeet, and the veterinary vehicles.

Numeracy and literacy abilities, a positive telephone manner, competent computer skills and a logical, systematic approach to tasks is essential. A veterinary/medical background or SQP qualification would be an advantage but not pivotal as training will be provided.

There is a company dress code.

A full, clean driving licence is required.
