Our opening hours
If you have an emergency outside of these opening hours, please call MiNightVet on 01752 754900. Their team will advise you on how to proceed.
Please note that you will be responsible for transporting your pet to and from Woodlands Veterinary Hospital. Our team will be happy to recommend local pet-friendly taxi services to you, should you need assistance with this.
Our out of hours service is supplied by MiNightVet (at Woodlands Veterinary Hospital) in Plymouth.
Please note: If you have an emergency between 6pm and 7pm, please contact our team on the usual number.
MiNightVet have excellent inpatient and hospitalisation facilities, so you can trust that your pet will be in safe hands.
As a guide their initial emergency consultation fee is £200 (price subject to change).
Please note that MiNightVet are available for emergencies only. For all routine care, please call us during our opening hours.
Patients admitted during our opening hours on Mondays to Thursdays and requiring overnight care will be looked after by the night nurse and on-call vet at our Callington branch.
Patients admitted on Fridays and Saturday mornings will need to be transferred to MiNightVet for ongoing care when we close.
If you have an emergency at any time, please call 01579 386132 (Callington) or 01637 889231 (St Columb).
Between 5pm and 8am on Monday to Friday, and between 5pm on Friday to 8am to Monday, your call will be forwarded to the out of hours answering service.
The on-duty vet will then ring you back, and can offer advice and arrange to visit you, if required.
