IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT THE VETS…

Our vets would get nothing done without our excellent support staff!

Jane

Jane joined the practice in 2012 and will be a familiar face and voice to our clients with pets.   Our senior administrator, she manages the small animal office and reception.

Chrissie

Chrissie has been assisting the farm team since 2015 and is our Farm Office Lead, based in our Callington centre. With 15 years experience as a dairy farmer, and now running a herd of pedigree Shorthorns and British Whites, her experience with livestock is invaluable.  She is a qualified Approved Tuberculin Tester and is on the Register of Mobility Scorers, carrying out mobility and condition scoring for our clients.

Sheila

Sheila has been part of the Callington Calweton Farm Admin team since 2006. She is a key member of the admin team alongside Chrissy and Ros in the Farm and Equine office.  In her spare time Sheila enjoys gardening and exploring her local village and surrounds with dog Ella.

Kelvin

Kelvin joined Calweton, Callington at the start of 2019 as our Medicines Stock Champion and is responsible for the farm and equine drug orders.  In his spare time Kelvin enjoys turning his hand to landscape and portrait photography.

Hattie

Hattie joined Calweton in September 2020 and is based mainly at the St Columb office as part of the Farm Admin Team. When Hattie is not at work she is helping her other half on his beef farm at home and walking her labrador, Nelly. She is a qualified Approved TB Tester (ATT) and on the Register of Mobility Scorers so you may see her out on farm too!

Steph

Steph is part of our Farm Admin Team in St Columb. She has been with us since 2017, starting as a TB Administrator and expanding her role during her time with the business by supporting the vets in the role and keeping the St Columb office ticking over day to day. As a daughter of a local beef and sheep farmer, Steph has hands on knowledge and experience with animals. She has been part of Young Farmers's for many years and it is fair to say that Steph is truly passionate about the industry and caring for those within it. Steph has recently become a puppy mum to Golden retriever Dexter and is a very talented artisit in her spare time.
