Jenny - BVetMed MRCVS

Jenny is our Small Animal Clinical Director.  She qualified from London’s Royal Veterinary College in 2009 and joined the practice in 2013. She enjoys all aspects of small animal practice and is currently studying for a post-graduate certificate in small animal medicine.  When not running around after two small people she enjoys dinghy sailing and paddleboarding.

Anna - BVM BVS MRCVS

Anna joined our small animal team in 2017, having qualified from the University of Nottingham. She is currently studying for a post-graduate certificate in Diagnostic Imaging and especially loves ultrasound! She enjoys horse riding (eventing), badminton, tennis, sailing and surfing in her spare time! She also loves exploring the Cornish countryside with her spaniel Bailey.

Monica - MRCVS

Monica joined the practice in 2020.  She qualified as a vet in 2016 in Romania and worked there as a small animal vet for two years. In 2018 she moved to the UK to continue taking care of all furry babies. In her free time she enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and cycling, and also enjoys relaxing with some cross stitching and cooking. Her best friend Maus is a domestic short hair cat with sight issues, who was adopted from a Romanian village and travelled with Monica to the UK.  She is very spoiled and absolutely enjoys her indoor life, but also loves birdwatching in the garden.

Aleco - MRCVS

Aleco graduated in 2016 from Usamv Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He moved to the UK in 2018 with his wife and his blind cat called Maus. Aleco previously worked in Dorset for two years prior to joining Calweton Vets in 2020.  He enjoys every aspect of small animal practice and he has a particular interest in Internal Medicine. Outside of work he enjoys hiking, cycling, reading and spending time with his family.

Emma - BVM&S MRCVS

Emma is originally from Northern Ireland and joined the practice in 2020 as one of our small animal vets, shortly after graduating from the University of Edinburgh. In her spare time Emma enjoys cooking and playing guitar. She also enjoys hiking and is looking forward to exploring more of the Cornish countryside.

Harry - BVM&S MRCVS

Harry qualified from The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies at The University of Edinburgh in 2020. Harry enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and is looking forward to working with the Small Animal team at Calweton Vets to hone his skills in all areas. His main interests include the outdoors and anything food or sport related. He is hoping to join a local sports team as soon as possible and is looking forward to exploring Cornwall.
