TB Testers and Vet Techs

If you've had a TB test recently, you'll probably recognise these people! They're all Approved TB Testers (ATTs).

We also have a team of Vet Techs. Our Vet Techs work alongside you and our farm vets in a team approach to improve farm health.

Jo

Jo joined the farm team January 2022 and is a qualified approved TB Tester (ATT) and RoMs mobility scorer. She is a local dairy farmers daughter who has worked at home for several years on a new robotic dairy set-up. In her free time she likes to compete her horse and pick up on shoots with her two sprockers, Fig and Meg.

Charlotte

Charlotte joined the farm team in May 2021 as a farm administrator in the Callington branch and is an Approved TB Tester (ATT) and Vet Tech. In her spare time she works at home on her family’s hill farm on Dartmoor and enjoys showing their various breeds of sheep at local agricultural shows.

Chrissie

Chrissie has been assisting the farm team since 2015 and has now taken up a new role as Lead ATT, helping to develop our ATT service and ensure your cattle are TB tested in a well organised and proficient manner. She has 15 years experience as a dairy farmer, and now running a herd of pedigree Shorthorns and British Whites, her experience with livestock is invaluable. As well as being qualified as an Approved Tuberculin Tester, Chrissie is on the Register of Mobility Scorers, carrying out mobility and condition scoring for our clients.

Hattie

Hattie joined Calweton in September 2020 and is based mainly at the St Columb office. She started in the office as Farm Admin and now, she is a qualified Approved TB Tester (ATT) and on the Register of Mobility Scorers so you may see her out on farm as well as in the office! She is part of our Vet Tech team and she really enjoys works along side our vets and farmers so that they can achive the best out of their farm. When Hattie is not at work she is helping her other half on his beef farm at home and walking her labrador, Nelly.
