January 2022 will see the return of our popular Lambing Courses.
This highly practical workshop provides guidance on how to correct malpresentations, and tips on how to improve ewe and lamb survival in the days around lambing. You will need waterproofs and wellies as this course is hands-on!
Course outline:
- Preparation for the lambing season
- Malpresentations and correction - practical session
- Prolapses and other problems
- Care of the recently-lambed ewe
- Care of neonatal lambs to improve survival
Course information:
- Held at Merrymeet training facility: Merrymeet, Liskeard, PL14 4LP
- 10am: Start
- 2pm: Finish, with pasty lunch
- Tea and coffee provided during midway break
- Maximum 12 delegates
- Cost £80pp including VAT

COVID safety: The course will be held under cover, but in a well-ventilated, essentially outdoor environment. We ask that you carry out a lateral flow test the morning of the course.
