Repeat prescriptions, wormers, flea treatments and supplements can be requested by calling 01579 383231, emailing reception@calwetonvets.co.uk or completing the following on-line order form. You can also use this form to order food etc.

If your pet is on long term medication, in order to be able to dispense repeat prescriptions we will ask to see them regularly for a 'repeat prescription check'. This is a legal obligation, in accordance with guidelines set out by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

These checks are necessary in order to assess:

how well your pet is doing on the medication
whether the medication is causing any side effects
whether the dose needs adjusting (in some cases a blood test may be needed)
the general health of your pet

The frequency of these checks is in accordance with the professional judgement of the veterinary surgeon in the individual case. It will depend on a number of factors such as the type of condition we are treating, and the overall health of your pet.
