BVD Stamp It Out: Final Cluster Meetings

Tuesday, June 22, 2021 - 15:00

Calling all BVD Stamp It Out Participants!

The government funded BVD Stamp It Out project comes to a close in June.

One of the commitments we – vets and farmers – made when signing up to the scheme was to participate in a final cluster meeting at the end of the project to discuss results, experiences and control strategies.

UPDATE 15TH JUNE: Despite the delay to the end of COVID restrictions, we recognise that face-to-face meetings provide the best forum for useful discussion and are planning to proceed with the meetings. The meetings will be held in an open barn with restricted numbers so please only ONE attendee per farm.

We hope you will be able to join us for one of the sessions and help build on the project’s progress with BVD control in England.  Meetings are expected to last no longer than an hour and will include refreshments.

Date: Tuesday June 22nd
Time: 12.30pm OR  3.00pm
Place: Merrymeet Equine Facility, Liskeard, PL14 4LP
Refreshments provided!

If the thought of gathering together with an actual group of actual farmers and consuming actual refreshments isn’t enough, we would like to further entice you with the chance of winning the cost of a year’s BVD surveillance (value approx. £115+ vat)!  All meeting attendees will be entered in to a draw for this, with additional prizes for two runners up.

Please call 01579 386132 and tell us your preferred meeting (12.30 or 3pm) and how many will be attending, to ensure we have enough pasties!
